This is my daily diary of my grandsons life after their parents breakup. I know everyone says you can't love anyone more than your own children but this isn't true. It's just a different kind of love.

Pawpaw took JJ and the boys to work and school again today. Cameron went to the movies to see the newest Ice Age movie. While taking them, pawpaw had a long conversation with Cameron about his mother and how he wants to see more of her. Pawpaw tried to explain that Jamie is having some problems now but that does not mean that she does not love him and his brother and that once she can, he will be able to spend more time with her. I hope she gets her ducks in a row and can start being a good mother to them again. She has always put the boys first until the last year or so and I think that she has been influenced by several people she works with and her dependence on the alcohol. Her father appears to have a problem with it and I think she gets it from him.
Jamie dropped the boys off around 6:15 and we had supper. After they ate, the boys played with Jason for a little while before he gave them a bath. They were allowed to watch TV until it was time for bed.

7/7/09

Pawpaw took JJ to work and then the boys to school as usual. While he was gone I took my shower and got dressed. I had an appointment at the doctors office for my lab work. I will call back next week for the results. After my appointment, I spent the rest of the day looking for a job. Then I came home to start supper.
Jamie picked the boys up from daycare and brought them here. She only spends about 30 minutes with them before dropping them off here.
We ate supper at 6:30 and then the boys played for a while before Jason gave them their baths. They watched TV or played on the computer until it was time for bed.

7/6/09

Pawpaw took JJ to work again today while I stayed home and got the boys ready for school. Once he came back he took them to school and then took my car to have the brakes checked. Once he came home, we spent the rest of the day looking for a futon for Jason's room. Cameron is sleeping on an air mattress (which he loves) on the floor, Jason is on one bunk bed and Mason is on the other. I would like to get a futon so that they can use it as a couch to watch TV on and then make into a bed at night. This will help with the floor space.
When Jason came home he said that he had spoken to Jamie and that she would like to pick the boys up from school and spend some time with them. Its about time since she hasn't seen them since last Thursday morning when she dropped them off at school. I had Jason call her again to see if she was going to feed them or if they would be eating here. She told him that they would be eating here since she did not have any food at her house and would not have any until she got paid again on the 15th.
Jamie called at 5:30 to say she was leaving work and going to pick up the boys. She dropped them off at 6:15. So much for spending time with them.
6:30 We ate supper and then Jason put the boys in the bath tub.

7/5/09

Jamie has made no attempt to see the boys this weekend. Even when it is not his weekend, Jason will call and go over to see the boys for a little while. But Jamie rarely even calls to check up on them. She did call while we were eating lunch today, stating that she had just gotten home. I think she goes over to a friends house and stays all weekend. She did ask to speak to the kids but they didn't want to talk to her. Jason made them at least call out that they loved her. When she asked what time they would be coming home, Jason told her again that they would stay here until she decided to act like a mom and stopped partying and drinking. She said whatever and hung up the phone. He has not talked to her again. As I noted on my previous posting, the boys are staying here tonight and Pawpaw(who is on vacation this week) will take them to school tomorrow.

7/5/09

Pawpaw took JJ to work today and let me stay home for a change. JJ only had to work for about an hour so once Pawpaw left to pick him up I started breakfast. When they came home we ate, cleaned the kitchen, straightened the house and went to the store to buy groceries.
By the time we came home, Jason and the kids had come home too. They said they had fun.
The boys had gotten a litte sun, but Jason was as red as a lobster. They were all so tired from all the fun on Saturday that they just wanted to lay around watching TV and since it was so hot outside, that was OK with me. Mom came over around 1:30 as she usually does on Sunday. We had lunch (beef roast, gravy, mashed potatoes, rice (Jason doesn't eat mashed potatoes), peas and fresh creaned corn) and then mom and I played games while everyone else watched TV. Mom left around 6:00 and we gave the boys a bath and then I fixed them some french toast for supper. They like to have it at night sometimes.
7:30 Jason had the boys lay down. They could watch TV for a while but were both asleep almost before their heads hit the pillow.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
I let the Jason and the boys sleep late while I took JJ to work. Once I got home I started breakfast (bacon, eggs, grits and biscuits). Pawpaw stopped by from work long enough to have breakfast with us and then Jason dressed the boys and they left. They are going to spend the day at a lake close to a friend of Jason's. They will play in the water, have a picnic and watch the fireworks later tonight. They may spend the night if it is to late to come home since the lake is close to Auburn. I would prefer they stay the night as it is a holiday and there will be a lot of drunks on the road. Pawpaw, MewMaw (my mother) and I went to my sister Kim's for the day.We always have a good time there.

Pictured is just some of the food we had. Kim is an excellent cook and Terry is a great host.

7/3/09

6:30 AM I had to wake the boys up to get dressed so we could take JJ to work and then take them to daycare and the Y. After dropping them off and heading home I realized that I had forgotten to give Cameron his medicine so I ran home, got it and took it back for him to take. The Y was not furnishing lunch today so I planned on taking him lunch at ll:00. At 10:30 I picked up McDonald's and took it to him along with his bathing suit so he could swim after lunch.I went by Mom's to drop off my mini muffin pans so she can make muffin brownies to take to my sister Kim's tomorrow.
12:00 I met Pawpaw for lunch and then went to Walmart to purchase the items I need to make the food I am taking to Kim's house.
1:50 While I was at Walmart I received a call from Jason asking me to pick Mason up from the daycare center as they had closed a 1:30 and no one had picked him up. I had not noticed a sign when I dropped him off this morning or I would have picked him up early. Apparently they called Jamie and she called Jason yelling at him saying she couldn't pick him up. She has been off all week. I'll give you one guess as to why she couldn't get him. (Does pool and drinking sound familiar)
2:10 I picked Mason up and we went back to Walmart and then went home to play until Cameron and Pawpaw came home. I decided to let Cameron stay at the Y so he could go swimming in the big pool. Once Pawpaw and Cameron came home at 3:30 we let the boys play in the small pool until Jason came home, then we gave the boys a bath and took them to their favorite place for supper (McDonalds)and to let them play. They had a ball.
8:00 We came home, put the boys in their PJ's and let them watch a little TV before going to sleep. Jason has a big day planned tomorrow for the 4th.

7/2/09

While I was shopping at Walmart today I came across a small pool for the boys. We have decided not to open our pool this year as with me not working it just cost to much money to run (chemicals and power for the filter). But the small pool can be filled and emptied daily if needed. When I got home I started filling the pool then I called Pawpaw and asked him to pick the boys up early from daycare so they could play in the pool before supper.
5:00 PM Pawpaw and the boys arrived home and they immediately changed clothes and jumped in the pool. Jason came home and he and pawpaw watched the boys play while I started supper. At 6:00 Jason had the boys get out of the pool and he gave them a bath while I finished up supper. While we were eating Jamie called to let Jason know to drop the boys off at the pool. Jason told her that the boys had already had their baths and needed to relax inside for awhile before going to bed not stay at the pool late again. Apparently since Jamie is off this week she is spending most of her days at the pool. That is fine but the boys don't need to stay at the pool late, go to bed late and then have to get up early the next day to go to school. I had wondered why Cameron is so tired when he comes over after the "Y" and he has even told me he has taken a nap there during the day. This is not like him as he usually refuses to take a nap during the day. When Jason told Jamie that the boys didn't need to go to the pool she became ugly, started cursing and told him that if he didn't bring them to the pool he should just keep them here because she was not leaving her friends. So the boys will stay here tonight and I will take them to school tomorrow.
8:00 PM Jason went over to Jamie's to get Cameron's medicine but Jamie was still at the pool with her friends. She has been drinking again and he said it was good that the boys are staying here tonight as she would not have been able to take care of them. She refused to leave the pool and continued to curse and argue with Jason. He told her that until she got her drinking under control the boys would stay here and she could see them whenever she wants. Jamie did not like this and said she would call the police on him. He said go ahead and we'll see who they let keep the boys tonight. As he left, four of the "men" that hang around the pool with Jamie came out and tried to start something but he came home instead.
He thinks they wanted to try to get him in trouble so Jamie would have something over him. It didn't work.

7/1/09

5:15 PM Jason called and asked if Rusty could pick up the boys as he was still at work. He had called Jamie but she said she was off today and had been at the pool and drinking since 2:00 and could not drive to pick them up. Jason told her to stop drinking and that if she was not sober by the time he brought the boys home they would not stay.
6:00 Jason came home about the same time as Rusty came home with the boys. They played outside until I finished preparing supper. Once we ate, the boys and pawpaw played for a while until it was time for them to go home. Apparently Jamie must not have been drinking as much as Jason thought, because he did not bring them back.

6/30/09

Jason called to let me know that he would be picking the boys up and bringing them over to eat. As I thought, Jamie has changed her mind. She has decided to let the boys start coming back every night to eat here and then go home in time for bed.
When Cameron came over he was excited that he was getting to come back every night. Mason is still to little to realize what is going on. He is just happy to see us.
Jason said Jamie still wants to do the every other weekend thing, so he will have the boys all this weekend.

6/29/09

5:00 PM Jason picked the boys up and brought them over to eat. It was great to see them as we had not seen them since the previous Thursday.

6/28/09

It has been a very quite weekend. The boys did not come over at all and we missed them very much.

Thursday, June 25, 2009

6/25/09

Jason brought the boys over after he picked them up from daycare and the "Y. We had supper and then they played outside for a little while before Jason took them home. We probably won't get to see them again until sometime next week since this weekend is Jamie's weekend. Maybe she will decide that she wants to party after all and will want Jason to come get the boys. I can only hope.

6/23/09

Jason called to let me know that the boys would not be coming over to eat tonight. Apparently Jamie has decided that she will start picking them up and feeding them before putting them to bed. I think someone told her that she was not acting like a very good mother and it would not look very good when they went in front of a judge. Knowing Jamie though, I think that it won't last very long. She has gotten used to not having to cook for them at night and was able to relax for a couple of hours after work before she had to take care of the boys. Jason did say that he told her he wanted to get them at least one night a week.

6/22/09

6:00 PM Jason came home with the boys. While I made homemade pizzas for supper, Jason was again on the computer while the boys watched TV. They ate and left before 7:00. I don't know why Jason is in a hurry to take them home lately. I don't know what the problem is, but it has Rusty and I worried for the boys. They seem to be getting the short end of the deal in this divorce. Neither of their parents act as if they want children anymore. They have more important things to do than spend time with their children and that is very wrong.
I happened to meet my sister Kim at the store today and mentioned that Jason is acting strangely and I think he might have met someone and is not paying enough attention to his children. She said that if he is, it will probably only last a little while as most women wanted all the attention for the first few months. I said that was not right as his children should always come first.

6/21/09

7:00 Pawpaw took JJ to work today while I stayed at home with the boys. They slept in this morning since they had such a busy day yesterday.
8:30 The boys got up but were not in the best of moods again today. I fixed breakfast (grits, eggs, bacon and biscuits)and then gave them their baths.
11:00 Jason called and asked to speak to Cameron. He let him know that he would be home soon to take them out to eat lunch.
ll:30 Jason came home and Rusty and I left to go to the store. I decided he needed to spend some alone time with the boys.
12:15 When we came home from the store Jason and the boys were gone. We later learned that he had taken them to the mall and then to the movies.
4:00 Jason and the boys came home in time for lupper (between lunch and supper). After they ate, they played a little while until Jamie called to say Jason needed to bring the boys home.

6/20/09

I need to get something off my chest and feel that writing it down is the only way right now. Jason has always been a good father but lately has slipped in that department. I'm not sure what is going on, but he doesn't spend as much time with the boys as he used to. When they are here, he spends all his time either on the computer or talking on his cell phone while leaving Pawpaw and I to take care of the boys.
Earlier in the week he told me that Jamie had decided that he needed to keep the boys all weekend as she had something to do. And on Friday he called me and ask if Pawpaw and I could keep the boys on Saturday "night" as some of his high school friends had come to town (Auburn) for the weekend and wanted him to visit. He said that since it was an hour and a half round trip, he would stay in Auburn and come back on Sunday morning. I told him it was fine. This morning while I bathed the boys he let it slip that he was leaving a 1:00 to go to Auburn. Not once until then had he said anything about leaving that early.
I love Cameron and Mason and I love spending time with them but we are not their parents and one or both of them need to start acting like one. They both seem to think that since they are getting a divorce that they need a personal life. Well the boys did not ask to be brought into this world and it is their (Jason and Jamie) responsibility to take care of their children not mine and Rusty's.
I have also come to realize that a lot of Jason's and Jamie's problems were not all her fault. Jamie has never been a great housekeeper but she at least cleaned the house around the clutter but the last year or so had not lifted a finger to clean the house.
Since Jason has moved in with us, I now know that Jamie probably gave up as Jason is a slob. He never cleans his room. He leaves dirty clothes and dirty dishes laying around and never even offers to take out the trash.

6/20/09

6:00 AM Mason got up early this morning and watched TV with me until it was time to take JJ to work at 7:00. I had him get back in his bed and watch TV there until I came back. Once I came home and Cameron woke up, I fixed breakfast of pancakes and eggs. They both ate very well. At 10:45 I gave the boys a bath and washed their hair. They were both very dirty. When I asked Cameron how long it had been since he took a bath he said Monday or Tuesday. This does not surprise me.
11:30 I left to go pick JJ up from work while Jason finished getting the boys dressed. Once I came home, Rusty was home from work and I took my shower.
12:30 The boys and I left the house to left Pawpaw take a nap. We went to my mother's (MeMaw) apartment to feed the ducks, fish and turtles and to let the boys play at the playground. After we left the house I called Jason to remind him to pick up Cameron"s medicine and his DX(computer game)from Jamie's apartment before leaving town. Cameron did not take his medicine this morning and I can tell. He has been very difficut so far today and between him and his brother they have pushed my buttons today.
2:00 The boys and I picked Pawpaw up. I called Jason again to find out why he had not picked up Cameron's medicine. He said Jamie was not at home and was not answering her phone. I wondered what would have happened if there was an emergency. We went to KFC for lunch, then went back to McDonalds to let the kids play. Today's tempature was almost 100 and they have a inside playground where the kids can play in comfort. Since there are no kids in our neighborhood, this is a good place for them to play with other kids.
4:30 When we came home, Pawpaw laid down again, Cameron started playing his game on the computer and Mason started watching his favorite movie (Cars) but fell asleep.
6:30 I woke up Pawpaw and Mason from thier naps and he and the boys went outside to play pitch.
7:15 Pawpaw, the boys and I went to Walmart to shop for something for supper. While we were in the car, Jason finally called to check on the boys. Jamie has not bothered to call but then she rarely does.
8:30 We came home, I cooked supper, we ate and the boys got ready for bed.
10:15 It has been one of the most difficult days I have spent with the boys. They have fought like cats and dogs all day and they have spent more time in time out than in their room playimg. I know some of Cameron's mood is because he hasn't taken his medicine today(atleast I think its only today) and because Mason copies his brother, he has been more difficult than usual today. But I also think Cameron is beginning to realize that things are changing in his life and Jason and Jamie are not paying enough attention to him and his brother. He seems to get more attention when he is bad so therefore he acts bad. He hears more than they realize and knows what is going on. He hears the fights over Jamie's drinking. He told us today that his mom drinks alot and sometimes he see her drinking her wine straight from the bottle. It breaks my heart that he is not being allowed to act like an 8 year old but has to look out for his brother because his mom sometimes can't.

6/19/09

4:30 Jason called and asked if we would pick up the boys as he had to work late again. Once we got home, we let the boys play outside for a little while until Jason came home. At 6:30 we all went to McDonald's to eat and we let the kids play. They love to go there. Afterwards, Jason took the boys to get an ice cream and Pawpaw and I went home. Once they came home, Jason and the boys changed clothes and watched TV until time for bed.

5:00 PM PawPaw left to pick up the boys from daycare since Jason had to work late. Once they came home and ate, they went outside to play with Cameron's friend Ashley.
7:30 PM Jason came home at 6:30, ate supper and then played outside with the boys until it was time to take the boys home.

6/16/09

2:00 PM Jason called to let me know that he was picking the boys up early and taking them to McDonald's to eat supper and play. I know that the boys will like that. They get to spend time with their dad and get to play in the playground area at McDonald's but I will miss seeing them. I have gotten used to seeing them every day.

6/15/09

7:00 AM After getting the boys up, getting them dressed and feeding them, we took JJ to work and then I took them to school (daycare and YMCA). I spent the rest of the day cleaning the house, looking for a job, having lunch with Rusty and shopping for supper.
6:00 PM Jason returned from picking up the boys, we had supper and they played for a while before Jason took them home and then went to the gym.
8:30 PM Jason came back from taking the boys home and going to the gym. He was upset with Jamie again. Last week Jamie talked to Jason about them going to a lawyer and getting started with the divorce. They agreed to Jason paying 700.00 a month, furnishing health insurance, paying one half of any co pays and Cameron's medication. Now Jamie has changed her mind again. Apparently she has talked to her friends or is mad at Jason over some problems they had this weekend (her drinking while she had the boys). This does not surprise me. She always tries to hold things over Jason's head when she is mad.

Sunday, June 14, 2009

6/14/09

2:30 AM Jason left to go over to see the boys. At 3:00 he called to let me know that he was bringing the boys home with him once he went to pick them up something to eat. Apparently they have been at the pool since 11:00 and have not had anything to eat since they had cereal when they first got up this morning. When they came in both boys were sunburned and starving. Jason had stopped by McDonalds and they ate every bite. When Jason called Jamie about their sunburn she stated that she had put lotion on them before leaving to go to the pool. I wonder if she knows that you must reapply it several times when spending a lot of time in the sun. Jason said it did not surprise him as she has been drinking. It was their agreement that she does not drink while she has the boys but she seems to overlook that agreement a lot lately. She doesn't seem to realize that something could happen to one of the boys at the pool and she might not have the reaction time needed to cope with the emergency. Since she didn't seem capable of taking care of them, they will spend the night here.
6:00 PM Jason gave the boys their bath while I fixed them something to eat. They can't seem to get enough to eat when they are here.
7:30 PM Jason had the boys brush their teeth and allowed them to watch TV a little while before going to bed.

Saturday, June 13, 2009

6/13/09

7:00 AM I left to take JJ to work. Before I left Cameron got up and I told him to stay in bed and watch TV while Mason and Jason slept. When I came home, Cameron came into the living room to watch TV with me until Mason and Jason got up. Once everyone got up, I fixed breakfast(bacon, eggs and pancakes). The boys played for a while before taking a bath and brushing their teeth.
12:00 Jason took the boys home to Jamie per their agreement.

6/12/09

6:15 PM Jamie picked the boys up from daycare and the "Y" and brought them over since Jason had to work late. The boys watched TV and played on the computer while I cooked supper. Once Jason and Rusty got home we ate and then Jason and the boys played for a while before taking their bath and brushing their teeth.
8:00 Jason and the boys watched TV and then went to bed.

6/5/09

6:00 PM Jason picked the boys up from daycare and the Y and took the boys out to eat (their favorite McDonald's) before taking them see the movie UP.
9:30 PM Jason and the boys came home from movie. They really liked it. Since it was late, we let the boys change into their pj's without taking a bath. They will take it tomorrow.
They were tired and went straight to bed.

6/3/09

I have not blogged in a while since I have been sick. I went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and was told I have had a bad upper respiratory infection, but am now on the mend. I usually get sick around this time every year. I think is must be an allergy to something in the yard because it happens when I start cleaning out the natural areas. I think it must be the pollen on top of the pine straw. I will try to start blogging again, at least every few days. Nothing much has changed here other than Cameron is out of school and attending the YMCA daily so I can look for a job. I go out every day but there doesn't seem to be anyone hiring right now.
Jason picks the boys up after work and brings them over to have supper with us, Mason watches TV(cartoons), Cameron plays on the computer while supper is getting ready. After they eat, Jason plays with them for a few minutes before taking them home in time for bed.

6:30 Jamie dropped Cameron off as usual. He said he didn't eat breakfast so PawPaw, who is off this week, fixed him some cereal. PawPaw took him and Jarred this morning as I still feel a little under the weather.Later in the day before we picked Cameron up from school, PawPaw and I went by the boys club to check it out for their summer program for Cameron since I can not keep him all day and look for a job. We liked the setup and took Cameron by after school to see if he thought he might like it. He does so now Jason will need to go by and check it out. Once we got home Cameron worked on his homework, then went to the park with Pawpaw while I started supper. Jason brought Mason home. We ate supper and he took them home around 7:00.

4/26/09

Once everyone woke up , I fixed breakfast of bacon, eggs and pancakes. The boys called and wanted Jason to come and get them early. Once he came home with them they said they were hungry. Apparently Jamie had not fixed them breakfast as she knew they would be coming over and knew that I always made a big breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Once they ate, Jason took them to the park and then to the store to get bubbles and water pistols so they could play in the sprinkler. They came home and played with Jason in the front yard until lunch (grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and home made chili) was ready. When lunch was almost ready, Jason gave them a bath and then we ate. I had called mom earlier to let her know that I did not feel well today and could not work in the yard again today. I have been fighting a upper respiratory infection all week and coughed all night.
Jamie wanted the boys home by 6:00 so they could get ready for bed so Jason took them home at 5:45.

4/25/09

8:00 am Mom came over for breakfast( grits, bacon, smoked sausage, eggs and biscuits) and then she, Rusty and I worked in the front yard all day. Once breakfast was over Jason and the boys watched TV for awhile before going to the park to play. IN the late afternoon, Jason took the boys home. He feels Jamie needs to spend more time with the boys. She had not seen them since Friday morning and had not bothered to call to check on them. He will get them tomorrow to spend the day with them.

I have been sick all week with a upper respiratory infection and have not felt like blogging. I get this way at least once a year when I start working in the yard. Since I stopped smoking (about 10 years ago) I have problems with my chest. I can not lay down without coughing and try to sleep sitting up but this is difficult and I end up not sleeping very well. I have tried going to the doctor but most drugs don't seem to work and I have to wait for my body to recover on its on. I do feel better and hope to start back blogging daily.

4/14/09

6:30 am Jamie dropped off Cameron as usual and then we took JJ to work. It rained all day again and when I picked Cameron up from school at 3:10 it was to wet for him to play outside so I fixed him a snack and he played on the computer until it was time for homework. While Cameron worked on his homework I started supper. When Jason came home with Mason we had supper and then played with the boys before taking them home at 7:00.

4/13/09

6:30 am Jamie dropped Cameron off. Since it was raining, Jarred did not have to go to work so we stayed home until it was time to take Cameron to school. Since it was storming most of the day I decided to stay in today and work on the computer. I left at 2:45 to pick Cameron up from school. He had a good day at school, getting a 20 which is excellent. When we got home, Cameron ate a snack while watching TV, then started on his homework while I started supper.
Jason came home at his normal time, took a shower since he was drenched from the rain and then left to pick up Mason. Once they came home, we ate supper and Jason played with the boys before taking them home at 7:00.

4/12/09

Cameron and Mason got up early today since it was Easter Sunday. They opened their Easter baskets and played with the toys while I fixed breakfast. After breakfast, we colored eggs and then Jason got the boys dressed while I fixed the food we took to my sister house. We left the house at 1:00. Jamie had said that she would take the boys to her parents house later in the day. The boys stayed with us, playing with the other children and hunting eggs until Jamie called demanding that Jason bring them home. They cried as usual. They did'nt want to leave even when I explained that they would be be seeing their other grandparents and hunting eggs with their cousins.
When Jason came back, he was upset. It seems that Jamie was not taking the boys to her parents after all but had just wanted to interrupt our fun day.

Rusty and I went over to the house for the yard sale while Jason and the boys slept in. They came over later with breakfast (Hardee's). We did not have anyone stop by for the yard sale. I think that since I didn't put it in the paper and it was Easter weekend, no one was out shopping. Jason called Jamie to see if she wanted to come and get the rest of her items but she was again out by the pool with her friends and could not be bothered. At 12:00 we started loading Rusty's truck with a lot of the items and took them to the Goodwill store. Rusty and Jason took the large TV to the repair shop and stopped by to pick up lunch. We ate and then Cameron went to play with Ashley while Jason laid Mason down for a nap.
Rusty and I left the house around 5:00 to go to the store and to look for a mattress for Cameron's bed at the apartment. We found one at the Mattress store. I purchased it with the money Jason had given me.We (Jason, Rusty and I) have recently learned that Cameron is sleeping on the floor since he does not have a mattress and he does not like sleeping with Mason. Jamie was supposed to get him one once they moved but has found better things to spend the money on.
We came home, Rusty grilled steaks for supper and then Jason gave the boys a bath and they watched TV for a while before going to bed.

6:30 am Jamie dropped Cameron off as usual and we took JJ to work. Once we got back home I made Breakfast. Cameron watched TV and played on the computer until 10:00 and then went to see if Ashley could play. They played together most of the day. Jason had the day off and he took Cameron to lunch while I picked JJ up from work and then went to the store. Once they came home Cameron went back to play with Ashley. At 3:00, Jason and Cameron went to the daycare to hunt Easter eggs with Mason and then came home to play in the yard (they had bubbles) until it was time for supper. After supper, while Jason gave the boys a bath, Rusty and I put out yard sale posters for tomorrow. We have given Jamie every chance to come and get anything she wants before the yard sale but she only took a couple of items on Wednesday night and said she may be back later.
The boys stayed the night as usual and went to bed around 8:30.

I sometimes get very frustrated and feel like this picture . I know I don't work right now, but it seems like everyone thinks that since I don't work they don't have to do anything. I spend most of my day cleaning the house, washing clothes or cooking in between looking for a job and watching Cameron. And they wonder why I'm sometimes moody and resentful. I very rarely even get a thank you. Not once since Jason and Jamie split up has she even said thank you for cleaning up her mess at the old house.

6:30 am Jamie dropped off Cameron and we took JJ to work. When we got home I fixed Cameron breakfast (french toast and eggs) and then he played on the computer while I cleaned the kitchen and straightened the house. Later in the morning Cameron went over to see if Ashley could play and I started to work in the front yard. I am converting my flower beds from pine straw to mulch and they needed weeding before I could put down the mulch. My mom came over to help. Cameron went to lunch with Ashley and her grandmother and mom and I had a snack here.Mom and I worked in the yard until 4:00 and then stopped so that we could get ready to go out to eat tonight. Today is JJ's birthday and he wants to go to Texas Roadhouse to eat. I let everyone decide where they want to eat for their birthdays. Sometime they want to eat out and sometimes they want me to cook.
4:30 Jason picked Mason up from daycare, then took his shower and Pawpaw came home in time to take his shower.
5:30 We all left to go to eat and met mother (Memaw) there. We all had a good time and Jason took the boys home around 7:00.

6:30 AM Jamie dropped Cameron off, we took JJ to work and then came home to straighten up the house before going over to the old house so Cameron could play with Justin. We went to the house around 10:30 but Justin was still not home. We went inside to finish cleaning the house and to see what we wanted to save for the yard sale. At 12:30 we came home to eat lunch and let Cameron watch some TV since there is no power on at the old house.

At 2:30 we went back to the house and Cameron was able to play with Justin and his two cousins.Pawpaw came over around 3:00 and I came home to start supper while he stayed with Cameron. They came home at 4:30 so that Cameron could play with his friend Ashley, who is spending the rest of the week with her grandparents (The Mills) who live just down the street. I'm glad she is here now, I know they will have alot of fun.

Jason picked Mason up from daycare and brought him home around 5:30, then went to meet Jamie at the house so she could get what she wanted before the yard sale on Saturday. Once he came home we ate and he took the boys home around 7:00.

4/7/09

6:30 am Jamie dropped Cameron off as usual , we took JJ to work and then stopped by Hardee's for a smoked sausage biscuit for breakfast. Cameron calls them smoking sausage biscuits. We went back over to the old house at 10:00 to finish up but Justin was not at home so we came back home and Cameron played games on the computer for a while. At 12:30 we went back by Justin's house but he still wasn't home so we went to the post office and then to Burger King so Cameron could play. Once we left Burger King we went by Justin's again but he still wasn't home so we came home and Cameron rode his bike and we played outside until it was time to start supper.

4:30 Jason picked Mason up from daycare and brought him home. While the boys ate Jason left to meet Jamie so they could purchase the boys Easter stuff. I thought they should each do something but I guess she didn't have the money to get it herself.

7:00pm Jason came home and played with the boys for a little while and then took them home.

6:30 am Jamie dropped Cameron off as usual. Since this is Spring break week Cameron does not go to school so we stayed home until 10:oo at which time I took him over to the old house so he could play with his friend Justin. I have not been over to the old house in several weeks waiting for Jamie to get anything she might have left but wanted. When I got back to the house I noticed that she has not been back and therefore must not want anything but I called Jason and told him to call her one last time. If she has not come back by Thursday, all items left in the house will be either sold at a yard sale this weekend or given to Goodwill. I started by cleaning out the Florida room and then started moving all items left in the house to the Florida room. Cameron and I left at 11:30 to pick JJ up from work and to get something for lunch (McDonalds) and then came back. We came home around 4:00 and Jason brought Mason home and we had supper before he took them home at 7:00.

4/5/09

Everyone slept late again today. I fixed breakfast of pancakes, bacon and eggs and then the boys took their baths and brushed their teeth. Jason and the boys played for a while before he took them home. I wish they could have stayed until after lunch (to make sure they had a good meal) but Jamie wanted them home by 12:00 and Jason doesn't want to start anything because she will take it out on the boys.

4/4/09

Everyone slept in late today except Jarred (the boys call him JJ) who had to go to work. I fixed breakfast of waffles, bacon, sausage and eggs and then Jason gave the boys a bath and then they played for a while before it was time to take them home at 12:00. This is an arrangement made between Jason and Jamie after she moved out but which she seems to change whenever she has something better to do. Today she decided she wanted to lay by the pool with her friend Lisa and said that since she has the boys during the week she thinks he should have them every weekend until Sunday at noon. She says he doesn't spend enough time with them. She is the one that does not spend enough time with them as she only sees them from 6:30 pm until bedtime (8:00pm) and maybe 45 minutes in the morning before they leave the house. Jason sees them every day from 4:00 until he takes them home at 6:30 and then all weekend until Sunday at noon. We don't mind them staying here and would like it if they just stayed here all the time. They always cry when it is time to go home. Jamie says it is because they have fun here and not at home which is true. Here they are allowed to go outside(with supervision) and have attention paid to them where as at home all they do is play on the computer and watch TV.
1:00pm We met Jason and the boys at Burger King for lunch and for them to play for a while before he took them to get a haircut. Afterwards we came home to work in the yard. Jason and the boys helped and then we had supper and Jason and the boys watched a movie before going to bed. It was a good day.

4/3/09

6:30 am Jamie dropped Cameron off as usual. I went ahead and got dressed so that once we dropped Jarred off at work I could take Cameron to the store to get what he wanted for his sack lunch since today was field day at school. After I dropped him at his classroom I went to help with the preparations for field day. I stayed all day helping with the concessions and only left at 2:15 to pick Jarred up from work. At 2:00 while I was working the concessions, Jamie came up and told me that she had stopped by Cameron's room and he wanted to go home with me and she had something to do anyway. This is just another Friday that she was supposed to pick him up and decided she had something better to do. Since I had to pick Jarred up from work, Rusty picked Cameron up from school at 3:10.
Rusty, Cameron and I picked Mason up from daycare at 5:30 and came home to let them play with Jason for a little while. Since it is Friday and our day ( we have aways kept the boys on Friday night so that Jason and Jamie coud have a date night) Jason went to the movies and we went to supper at Ryan's. After we ate, Rusty took Cameron to Monkey Joe's while Mason and I went to Target to get the boys some PJ's. I have been giving the boys a bath here and sending them home in the PJ's I keep here and Jamie has not sent them back.

4/2/09

6:30 am Jamie dropped Cameron off as usual and I took him to school. I picked him up at 3:10 and we can home. He played until Jason came home with Mason. We ate supper and then Jason took them home at 6:30.
When I picked Cameron up from school yesterday I noticed that his teeth looked like they had not been brushed in some time. I know he brushed them on Sunday morning because they were here and I made sure they brushed. When I asked him , he said he had not brushed since Sunday. I don't understand why Jamie doesn't make them brush when she is a dental assistant and knows the importance of brushing. When I told Jason, he mentioned it to Jamie and she said that she tells him to brush and if he doesn't she feels he will do it here. He also asked her when they last had a bath and she said she was not sure. I now know why they smell sour. They should have a bath every night. I guess we will have to start bathing them here before they go home. Pretty soon all they will be doing there is sleeping since they eat here and now they will be bathing here. They might as well sleep here as well but then Jamie would not get anything ( money) when they finally go to court for the divorce.

4/1/09

6:30 am Jamie dropped Cameron off and I took him to school around 8:15. I picked him up after school at 3:10 and we came home. I helped Cameron finish his homework and then I started supper.
5:30 pm Jason called and asked if I would pick up Mason from the daycare center as he was still working and he had called Jamie to get her to pick him up but she had a baby shower to go to that was more important than picking up her son.
After we got home I finished fixing supper, we ate and I gave the boys a bath. I don't think they get a bath everynight at home as they sometimes smell sour.
Jason came home around 6:30, ate and then he took the boys home around 7:00.
