This is my daily diary of my grandsons life after their parents breakup. I know everyone says you can't love anyone more than your own children but this isn't true. It's just a different kind of love.

10/30/09

Around 2:30 AM Pawpaw woke me up saying he was having chest pain, shortness of breath and numbness in his fingers. I immediately took him to the hospital. After a long time spent in the ER, with a EKG, blood work and chest x-ray preformed, we were allowed to come home. All test showed that he had not had a heart attack but they want him to see his regular doctor for a stress test. They are not sure if he may have a blockage somewhere. He has a appointment scheduled for Monday. Since we were in the ER, Jason stayed home, took JJ to work, Mason to daycare and then took Cameron to school. Pawpaw slept most of the day only waking long enough to eat. Jamie picked Cameron up from school and Mason up from daycare. They will spend the weekend with her.

10/28/09

Pawpaw took JJ and the boys to work, school and daycare while I stayed home and straightened the house and got ready to go out for the day. Pawpaw had to work for a little while during the morning and then came home to rest. Later in the morning I met him for brunch at IHOP and then went out until time to pick Cameron up from school. Once we came home, I made Cameron a snack and then Pawpaw took him to the park until time for Jamie to pick him up. Since it is Wednesday, he and Mason will spend the night with her. Jason had to work late and didn't get home until right before Jamie came but he was able to see the boys for a few minutes.

10/25/09

Everyone got up early today. I think that since we are going home they wanted to spend as much time as possible at the beach. Rusty ran to McDonald's for breakfast while I started washing all the sheets. Kathy said not to worry about washing them but I didn't feel right leaving them for someone else to do. Once we had breakfast, Pawpaw and JJ took the boys to the beach while I finished drying and folding the bed linens and then I went to spend some time with them at the beach. It was a cool day so we didn't let them play in the water but they were able to walk along the waters edge and collect shells. Pawpaw and I have decided that we would like to bring them back at spring break so they can really play in the ocean. We left around 11:00 and made one stop in Eufaula and then was home by 4:00. After unpacking, we had supper, Jason gave the boys a bath and they were in bed by 8:00. They were tired and were asleep within minutes.

They had a great time trying to build a sand castle.

Even though you can hear the wind , you can still hear the sound of the ocean. I could sit and listening all day.

TEAM DAVENPORT

We all got up early to get ready for the walk. Pawpaw and I took JJ and the boys to McDonald's for breakfast and then met Kathy and the rest of the walkers. It was a very fun experience and one that I will continue to come to Florida for every year as long as Kathy wants to invite us. After the walk, Pawpaw and I took the boys to the beach so they could play in the sand. They had a ball and didn't want to leave. Later, we went back to Kathy's for games and then a great BBQ supper. After we got back to the condo, we took the boys to the beach for a little night crabbing but it was too cold so we only stayed for a few minutes. We will take them back tomorrow for a little while before heading back home.

This was a bronze McDonald statue holding up a surf board at the McDonald's where we had breakfast.
These are some of the breast cancer survivors. Kathy and I are in the middle.

This was Cameron's second time seeing the ocean but Mason's first. They both loved it. Cameron even asked if we could move to Destin.

10/23/09

I woke the boys, fed them, dressed them and then we took JJ to work and came home to get ready to go on our trip to Florida. After I finished loading the car, the boys and I went to Walmart to pick up a few things and then we went to Blockbuster Video to pick up several movies (Mall Cop, Igor, Monsters vs Aliens, Beverly Hills Chihuahua)to take and watch on the trip. Pawpaw came home about the same time we came home from picking JJ up from work and we all left after calling Jason and Jamie so the boys could say goodbye. It was a very long trip, but we finally arrived at Kathy's around 5:00. After everyone arrived, we all went out to eat and then we went on to the condo. The boys were tired and went to bed without a fuss.

This is what happens when kids have to ride for a long time. They get very silly.

10/22/09

Jamie dropped Cameron off at 6:15 and then took Mason to daycare. After I had Cameron change into his uniform, I made him some pancakes and then took him to school. Since we are going to Florida tomorrow for the breast cancer walk, I decided to stay home today and get everything packed and ready to go so that once everyone gets off work tomorrow we can leave. I picked Cameron up from school at 3:15 and came home to start supper. Jamie asked Jason if the boys could stay with her again tonight and he agreed. Once he came home he played with Cameron until it was time to take him over to Jamie's. She will bring both the boys here in the morning and they will stay with me since school is out. Jason also found out today that he has to work on Saturday and could not find anyone to swap weekends with him so he will not be going to Florida with us. Since Jamie has plans for this weekend, we will take the boys with us.
Note: I have felt bad all day today with several bouts of diarrhea and then nausea and vomiting but hope that it is just a 24 hour virus. Everyone is looking forward to this trip and I don't want to be the one that stops us from going.

10/21/09

Pawpaw took JJ to work while I stayed at home with the boys and let them sleep until 7:15. I got them up, dressed and fed before Pawpaw took Mason to daycare and then Cameron to school. I met Pawpaw at the auto shop where he left the little car for them to find out why we have had to put three pairs of brakes on it in the last 3 months and it needs them again. After dropping him at the house I went out for a little while and then came home to pick him up to go for a late lunch before picking Cameron up from school. After picking Cameron up, I dropped them off at a nearby park to play and came home to start supper. Jason usually takes Cameron over to Jamie's on Wednesday and she picks Mason up and take him home with her but today she came here instead. She wanted to talk to Jason again about the mediation of their divorce. She is not happy with the arrangement and wants joint custody. I feel that is not in the boys best interest. They need a permanent home not a one week here, one week there situation. I hope they can come to some kind of agreement.

10/18/09

The boys were at Jamie's this weekend and it was very quite around here. Kim and Terry came over today for lunch. I decided I would try to bake some fish today since Terry recently had a heart attack and is trying to eat better. I baked the fish with a little lite butter and some old bay seasoning. It was pretty good. We also had brown rice, asparagus spears and wheat bread. Later, Jason went to get the boys, who were hungry, so Pawpaw went to KFC for supper. While Pawpaw was gone, Jason and the boys carved the pumpkin for Halloween and put up the outside decorations. Afterwards, Jason gave the boys their baths and then they watched the movie Bolt until bedtime.

10/15/09

Jamie dropped Cameron off at 6:15 and then took Mason to daycare. Cameron was hungry so I fixed him breakfast and then had him change into his school uniform. We took JJ to work and then came home until it was time to take Cameron to school. While on the way to school, I noticed that Cameron's hair was oily and asked him if they had taken a bath last night at Jamie's. I don't know why I even bothered to ask. I picked Cameron up from school at 3:10 as usual. We came home, played and then I started supper. Once Jamie dropped Mason off, we ate and then Jason gave the boys a much needed bath. Jason and the boys watched TV until time for bed.

10/14/09

I woke the boys, dressed them, fed them and took them to daycare and school. JJ didn't go to work today due to the weather. I went out for a while but came back home early as it was raining and I was dripping wet. I never can find a umbrella. I don't know what happens to all of them. After drying off, Rusty and I went out for lunch, shopping for Halloween goodies and then we picked Cameron up from school. Once at home, I helped Cameron with homework until Jason came home from work. Since it is Wednesday, Jason took Cameron over to Jamie's. Jamie had picked Mason up from daycare. When Jason came back, he said he had to pick the boys up something for supper as Jamie didn't have any food in the house to feed them. He would have brought them home with him but they wanted to spend time with her so he picked up food for them instead. Jamie will drop Cameron off in the morning so I can take him to school and she will take Mason to daycare.

After supper, Jason gave the boys a bath and let them play before putting them to bed.

10/12/09

I got everyone up at the usual time. I dressed them, fed them and we took JJ to work and then came home. Cameron had a doctors appointment today so we took Mason to daycare at 8:30 and stopped by Memaw's to fix a problem on her computer. Afterwards, Cameron and I went for his appointment. Since we did not leave the doctors office until after lunchtime at school, he and I met Pawpaw at Red Lobster and then I took Cameron to the main library to get some books he might like to read and then took him for a much needed haircut. I decided not to take him to school since he would have only been there a short time. After coming home, I started supper while Cameron played on the computer. Jamie dropped Mason off at 5:45 and stayed to play with the boys for a few minutes. After supper, Jason had Cameron read to him for 30 minutes and then gave them a bath. They played for a while before going to bed.

Pawpaw took JJ to work and let everyone else sleep in. After I got up, I made breakfast and then got Jason and the boys up. After breakfast, Rusty and I ran to the store and then came home to start lunch. Mom came over around 1:00 to watch football and have lunch. After lunch, we had birthday cake to celebrate Mason birthday which was on Wednesday of last week. Afterwards, Jason took the boys to the park to play with the bubbles Memaw gave Mason as part of his gift. She also gave him several outfits. After they came home from the park, I made supper and then Jason gave the boys a bath and they watched TV until bedtime.

10/10/09

I took JJ to work and then came home to start breakfast. Pawpaw came home to eat and then went back to work. After breakfast, Jason got the boys dressed and took them over to a friends house to play. After Pawpaw came home we went shopping for a few items we need for a trip we are planning for 10/23. We will be going to Destin Florida to walk in the Breast Caner walk. My sister Kathy has a team. Jason , the boys and even JJ will be going with us this year. This will be Mason first trip to the beach and only Cameron's second. Pawpaw and I ate a late lunch out and decided not to have supper since Jason, the boys and JJ had other plans. It was late when Jason and the boys came home, so he put them to bed without a bath. They will take one in the morning.

Jamie dropped Cameron off at 6:15, I had him change into his school uniform and then we took JJ to work and came home until time to take him to school. After I dropped Cameron off at school, I went back to the job fair(It was a two day fair). I picked Cameron up from school at 3:10 and we came home to work on his reading. He doesn't like to read and will do anything not to read. I don't understand this as I love to read and would read all day if I could. I even listen to books on CD in the car. I'll have him loving it too before I'm through. Later I made supper, we ate and then Jason gave the boys their baths. They were nasty since they did not have a bath at Jamie's last night. She told Jason it was because they got home late but this seems to be something that happens every Wednesday night and it evens happens most weekends when she has them. After their baths, they were allowed to watch TV before going to bed.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MASON
I woke everyone up, dressed them, fed them and Pawpaw took them to work, daycare and school. I spent the morning at a job fair on Victory drive and then Rusty and I took cupcakes to Mason's daycare for his birthday party and then we picked Cameron up at 1:15 as today was a early release day and took him to McDonalds for lunch. Afterwards, we stopped by Walmart to pick up gift bags and a toy for Mason's birthday and then went home to wait for Jamie to bring Mason home. Once everyone was here,we let Mason open his presents and then Jason and Jaime took the boys out to eat and then they took them to Hollywood Connections to play. We will have cake and ice cream here on Sunday when Memaw is here. I had Jason and Jamie take some pictures of the boys having fun at Hollywood Connection and they are pictured below. Afterwards, Jamie took the boys home with her since it is Wednesday. She will drop Cameron off here in the morning for me to take him to school.

While out I met up with mom and we decide to shop together. Between us we got him six interchangeable winter pants and shirts. I also got him some socks and Cameron some socks and T-shirts. I picked Cameron up from school at 3:10 and then we came home to do homework. Jason picked Mason up from daycare and took the boys out to eat since Rusty and I met Mom, Kim and Terry for dinner to celebrate Kim's birthday. When we came home, Jason had given the boys a bath and their were ready for bed.

JJ didn't have to go to work today due to the bad weather so I let the boys sleep late today. I got them up at 7:15, fed them, dressed them and then we left at 8:15 to take Cameron to school and then I took Mason to daycare. I came home, straightened the house and got dressed to go out for a while. Around 12:00, I got a call from Mom wanting me to come over. She had contacted AT&T regarding the problems with her internet service and they were sending someone over to check it out. She wanted me there since she doesn't know much about computers. We played a few games until the repairman arrived. Pawpaw picked Cameron up from school and brought him over. We all left around 4:00 and came home. I started supper and then left to picked up Mason from the daycare as Jason had called to say that both he and Jamie were working late. When we got home, Jamie was already here. She stayed a few minutes to see the boys. Once she left I finished supper, we ate, Jason gave the boys their baths and they were allowed to play until bedtime.

10/3/09

I took JJ to work and came home and spent most of the day doing nothing. With the boys staying with Jamie this weekend, it is very quite here and I am able to just sit and watch TV or read a book. I did catch up on the laundry. Pawpaw and I had planned on taking the boys to the fair today but Cameron had problems at school yesterday so he is spending time in his room at Jamie's instead. Since JJ went to the fair tonight with friends and Jason ate at a friends house, Pawpaw and I had breakfast for supper (cinnamon toast, bacon and scrambled eggs).

10/1/09

Jamie dropped Cameron off at 6:15. I had him change into his uniform and then we took JJ to work. Cameron was hungry so I stopped by Hardee's and got him a biscuit. I took him to school at 8:15 and then picked him up at the usual time. We came home, I made supper while he played on the computer and watched TV. He has a fascination with the show CASH CAB. It is a general question and answer trivia game and I think it teaches him without him even knowing. Jamie brought Mason home at 6:00, and stayed for a few minutes to play with the boys. We had supper, Jason gave the boys their baths and they played until time for bed.

Pawpaw came home in time to meet Jason and I at the lawyers office for a quick meeting before going over to the courthouse. Once we were in the courtroom, Mr. Hirsch spoke with Jamie's lawyer and later spoke with the judge and before you know it Jason was given custody. We were all shocked that Jamie had conceded and had even agreed to paying Jason a small child support payment every payday. After leaving the courthouse, Jason, Rusty and I went out to lunch to celebrate and then Pawpaw went back to work. Jason picked Cameron up from school and then picked Mason up from daycare. Jamie came over after work to see the boys and then we had supper. Jason gave the boys their baths and allowed them to watch TV until bedtime.

After supper, Jason gave the boys a bath and then let them watch TV for a while before going to bed. We are a little nervous about tomorrow. We will be going to court on the custody of the boys. Jason is trying to get custody and his lawyer thinks he has a good chance. Keep your fingers crossed.

Pawpaw took JJ to work and let the rest of us sleep in. Once I got up, I made breakfast and got everyone else up. After breakfast Jason gave the boys a bath and then took them down to the riverwalk to see how high the river was since we have had so much rain. Mom came over at 1:00 to watch football as usual and once Jason and the boys came home I ran to KFC to pick up something for lunch. After eating, Jason and Pawpaw took the boys outside to play. Later I made supper, we ate and then Jason gave the boys a bath before they went to bed.

After breakfast, Jason gave the boys a bath and then took them over to a friend's house to play. I worked in the yards until Pawpaw came home from work and we left to pick up JJ from work. Jason and the boys were home when we got back. Jason had stopped by Walmart to pick up a few items we needed. While there he also picked up a new DVD movie (SCOOBY-DOO The Mystery Begins) for the boys. I made lupper and then Jason and the boys went back to Jason friends house. The boys like to go there so they can play with the kids. They took the new movie with them for all the kids to watch. Since it was late when they came home, Jason put them to bed without a bath. They will take one tomorrow morning.

9/24/09

The boys stayed with Jamie last night. Jamie dropped Cameron off at 6:15 as usual. Today he was very sleepy. He told me he couldn't sleep last night so he stayed up until around 1:00. After he changed into his school uniform, he laid on my bed and slept until it was time to take JJ to work (7:00). He slept in the car on the way to and on the way back from taking JJ and then laid on the couch and slept until it was time to leave for school (8:15). I was finally able to keep him awake while taking him to school. I gave him something to eat and let him have a little diet coke. Maybe it will act as a stimulant and keep him awake at school. He is always tired when he comes back from Jamie's but today was the worst.
I picked Cameron up from school at 3:10 and we came home. He had a good day at school. Jason came home around 4:00. He and Cameron played games on the computer until Jamie dropped Mason off at 5:30. We had supper at 6:15 and then Jason gave the boys a bath. They were allowed to play until bedtime.

Pawpaw took JJ to work at the usual time of 7:00 while I stayed at home and let the boys sleep until 7:30. I got them up, dressed, fed and then Pawpaw took them to school and daycare. Pawpaw had a doctors appointment today so he and I spent the morning there and then we went shopping for shoes for him and winter school uniforms (long pants and long sleeve shirts) for Cameron. Pawpaw and I picked Cameron up from school at 3:10 and then took him home to start homework. Jason called at 5:30 to say that both he and Jamie were working late and asked if Pawpaw would pick Mason up from daycare. Pawpaw and Mason came home at 6:10 and he and the boys played outside until Jason came home. Jason was going to take them over to Jamie's but she came by at 6:30 to pick them up instead. After they left, Jason left to go get the boys something to eat and he took it over to them. I thought that Jamie was feeding them on the nights she has them but it seems that maybe Jason is taking them something.

I woke up the boys, dressed them , fed them and then took them all (JJ, Mason and Cameron) where they all needed to be. While on the way to school I asked Cameron what they had done all weekend while they were with his mother. He said that they stayed inside all weekend and didn't even get to go to the pool. I picked Cameron up from school at 3:10 and we came home to start his homework. The teacher had finally sent home his homework on paper with a note saying that she was having problems sending it to Jason's email address. After helping him with his homework, I started supper and then Pawpaw came home and took Cameron to the park for a while. Jamie brought Mason home around 6:00 and then we ate. Jason gave the boys a bath and then let the watch TV until bedtime.

9/17/09

Jamie dropped Cameron off at 6:15 and took Mason on to daycare. Cameron changed into his school uniform, had breakfast and we took JJ to work and then came home until time to go to school. I had planed on going over to my mothers house as my sister Kathy is up from Florida and her daughter Bree is up from Mississippi for a girls only get together but I'm having plumbing problems and needed to wait on the plumber to arrive so I had to wait until later in the day. I picked Cameron up from school at 3:10, went by the store and then went home. Cameron and I played in the yard until Jason came home. Pawpaw came home at 4:30 and I left to go over to mom's. Pawpaw went to KFC for supper for everyone and afterwards Jason gave the boys a bath before letting them watch TV before going to bed.

9/15/09

I woke up the boys, dressed them, fed them and then took them and JJ to work, daycare and then to school. I picked Cameron up from school at 3:10 and we came home. Later, Jason came home. He had spoken to the assistant principal (Mrs. Adams) earlier regarding Cameron's teacher and the problem we are having in getting the homework assignments. According to Cameron's teacher, Mrs. Johnson, she has been emailing the assignments to the email address that was on Cameron's school registration form which is Jamie's. If Jamie has been getting the assignments, she has not been forwarding them to us. Mrs. Adams said she had given Mrs. Johnson Jason cell phone number and she would call today. Later, Jason did have a long talk with Mrs. Johnson and she will start sending all correspondence to Jason's email address. She was not aware that Jason and Jamie were separated and that the boys were staying with Jason.
Jamie dropped Mason off at 5:45 and only stayed for a few minutes. We had supper at 6:30, Jason gave the boys their baths and they watched TV until bedtime.

9/14/09

I woke the boys up at 6:15, fed them, dressed them and we took JJ to work and Mason to daycare. I later took Cameron to school at 8:15 and came home to get ready to go out for a while. Jason called later in the morning to let me know that he would pick Cameron up from school today. If Cameron does not have his homework assignment today, Jason will stay to talk with the principal again since he has not heard anything since last Thursday.
Jason and Cameron came home at 3:30 and started on Cameron's homework. She had only sent one math worksheet and had not sent any spelling words. Jason will call the school tomorrow to make an appointment with the principal. She could not see him today. Jason started supper (spaghetti) while I set the table. Jamie brought Mason home at 5:45 and only stayed for a few minutes. After supper, Jason gave the boys a bath and then allowed them to watch a little TV before going to bed. Jamie did not call to say goodnight to the boys.

9/13/09

Pawpaw took JJ to work and I stayed home with Mason who got up early. I let Jason and Cameron sleep. Once Pawpaw came home I started breakfast. JJ only worked until 9:00 so I had breakfast ready when Pawpaw picked him up. After breakfast, Cameron again played with Ashley all day. I cleaned the house while Pawpaw worked in the yard (mowing, trimming and blowing). My mother always comes over on Sundays (when she is in town). She goes out of town a lot. Today Kim (my sister) and Terry came over to watch football with us. We had ribs and all the trimmings for lunch. Mason had fun playing with everyone here. Later, night I made french toast for the boys for supper and then Jason gave them a bath before putting them to bed. Jamie called earlier wanting Jason to bring the boys over so she could see them. Jason would have taken them but neither of the boys wanted to go. She could have come here if she had really wanted to see them. It has not stopped her in the past.

9/12/09

JJ did not have to work today so we all slept in except Pawpaw who had to work. Once everyone was up, I made breakfast. Pawpaw came home for breakfast before going back to work. After breakfast Jason gave the boys a bath. Cameron's friend Ashley(whose grandmother lives across the street) came over and they played all day either outside here or at her grandmother's house. Since Mason is still to young to be outside without an adult, he played with Jason either inside or they went outside and played with Cameron and Ashley. We had lunch here and then later I made supper before Jason gave the boys another bath before putting them to bed.

9/11/09

Jamie dropped Cameron off at 6:30. Mason wanted Jamie to take him to the daycare so she did. Since she is off today I don't know why she didn't let them sleep late today and then she could have taken them to daycare and school. I would have been more than happy to take Cameron's school bag and clothes to her. Rusty came home early and he and I went to lunch. Jarred called while we were eating to say that he was off so we picked him up, took him on his usual errands (bank and store) before taking him to his friends house. Later, Pawpaw and I picked Cameron up from school and came home. Jason picked Mason up from daycare and brought him home. They played in the yard until supper was ready. Jamie did come by briefly to see the boys. She had been at the pool most of the day. After supper, Jason and Pawpaw took the boys to Monkey joe's to play.It was late when they came home and they were tired. Since it is Friday and there is know school tomorrow, Jason decided to let the boys go to bed without a bath. They will take one in the morning.

9/10/09

Jamie was supposed to drop Cameron off at the usual time of 6:15 but when she had not by 6:30, I called Jason to see if he knew why. He called Jamie and called me back stating that Jamie did not have to go in to work until later and had decided to sleep a little later. It would have been nice if she had let me know so I would not have been worried. She dropped Cameron off at 7:00 and he and I took JJ to work and then came home until time for school. I had to take the car in to have the air worked on and decided to stay home and work online until it was ready. Once I picked up the car I went to the store and then picked Cameron up from school at 3:15. Jason has tried contacting Cameron's teacher for over a week and a half concerning a problem with his homework assignments and has not received a call back so he went to the school and talked with the principal. Apparently the teacher has been sending the assignment by email. But we don't know who is getting the email. It is not me or Jason. Since his teacher was not there today, they will talk to her tomorrow and get back with him. I hope Jamie has not been receiving them and not giving them to us.
When Jason talked to Jamie on Tuesday about the kids staying with us, he did tell her she could have the boys more often. She has decided that she wants them again tonight, so Jason picked Mason up from daycare at 3:30 and they came home and he and the boys played until supper was ready. Once we ate, Jason took the boys to Jamie.

9/9/09

Pawpaw took JJ to work today and I stayed with the boys and let them sleep until 7:15. After getting them up, I fed them and dressed them and then Pawpaw took Mason to daycare and Cameron to school. I went by the doctors office to get Cameron's new prescription and dropped it off at the Pharmacy. Jason picked it up on his way home.Later Pawpaw picked Cameron up from school while I put up the groceries we had bought. Once they came home, Pawpaw and Cameron played in the yard until Jason came home from work. Since Jamie keeps the boys on Wednesday, she picked Mason up and Jason took Cameron over to the apartment. He cried amd didn't want to go.I sent over supper for the boys. Jason said that Jamie had already fed Mason a bowl of cereal before he and Cameron got there. I can only hope that she will give the boys a bath.
Note: Jason received a letter today from his lawyer stating that the new court date is Tuesday 9/29/09 at 10:00 AM.

9/8/09

Jason called around lunch time to let me know that he had spoken to Mr. Hirsch. I was right in that things are to stay the same as they were when we went to court last week. Jamie and her lawyer both agreed that the boys would stay with us during the week and Jamie would get them every other weekend and every Wednesday night. I picked Cameron up from school at 3:15. When Jason came home from work, he picked Mason up from the daycare and then took the boys to Walmart. Once everybody was home, we had supper. While we were eating Jamie came over and Jason took her outside to talk about keeping the old arrangements until the next court date. Jamie was not very happy about it. She says she doesn't get enough time with the boys but even under her plan she would only see them a few minutes before bedtime and a few minutes in the morning before dropping them off here. Jamie left to go get Cameron's medicine and Jason put the boys in the bathtub. Afterwards they watched TV before going to bed.
Note: Jason called the school again today to request a meeting with his teacher. I don't know why she is not returning his calls but if he doesn't hear from her soon, he will have to take it to the principal. Cameron did not have homework assignments given again this week. I spoke with the grandmother of one of Cameron's classmates and she said that she had been told that the assignments were being sent by email. We were not notified of any changes. How can they send out emails when they have not requested the email address or if you don't have a email address?

9/8/09

Jamie dropped Cameron off at 6:15. I thought she would drop Mason off too, but she took him on to daycare. I will have Jason talk to her about dropping him off here and me taking him to daycare after taking JJ to work. At least then I will know that he has been fed. When Cameron came in he was hungry and ate two waffles. We took JJ to work and then came home until time to take Cameron to school. On the way to school, I asked Cameron about his weekend. He said that the only thing they did was go swimming on Saturday and then they stayed in the rest of the weekend other than going with Jason to eat and get haircuts on Sunday and going to Jamie's parents house yesterday afternoon. Jamie thinks Cameron is to young to play outside by himself and this is true but she could have taken them to the park or to the playground at the apartment complex or she could brought them over here to play for a little while. Children need to play outside when the weather is nice and not be made to stay inside all day.

9/7/09

It was a very quite labor day. Jason, JJ and Rusty all had to work today and the boys were with Jamie. Jason did go over to see them once he came home from work. Jamie took the boys to her parents house in the afternoon. She will drop them off in the morning.

9/6/09

Jason called to check on the boys and had a long talk with Jamie. Jamie has decided that she needs to spend more time with the boys. I think it is strange that now that she and her lawyer know that Jason is going for custody they want her to appear more mom like. Their plan is that Jamie keeps them from this past Friday until next Friday and then Jason will keep them from that Friday until the next. I will still pick Cameron up from school, Jason or I will pick Mason up from daycare, they will eat here, bath here and we will take them to her to spend the night. She will then bring them here the next morning for me to take them to daycare and school. I don't see how this makes her seem like a better mom since all she will do is watch them while they sleep and the boys will get one hour less sleep since she will get them up at 5:15 instead of the 6:15 here. Jason will call his lawyer on Tuesday to see what he thinks of this plan since it was agreed on Thursday that things would stay the same until the next court date. The same being that the boys stay here and Jamie has them every other weekend and every Wednesday.
Later in the day, Jason picked the boys up and took them to get haircuts and then took them out to eat supper as they were hungry. He then took them back to Jamie's. They will stay with her until Tuesday when she drops them off before going to work.

9/5/09

The boys are spending the weekend with Jamie and it was very quite around here today. Jason did call several times today to check on the boys and he did go over once to see them. Both boys have head colds and Jason ask Jamie to keep them out of the pool but she let them go anyway. She said that neither was running a fever.

9/4/09

I woke the boys, fed them, dressed them and we took JJ to work, Mason to daycare and then Cameron went with me for my blood work appoitment at 8:00 before I dropped him at school at 8:30. Since it is Jamie's weekend, she picked Cameron up from school and kept him for the afternoon before picking Mason up at the daycare. She did come by the house at 5:30 to pick up the boys medicine and Cameron's DS. When Jason came home, he went by Walmart's to pick up a few items(bread, milk, eggs, cereal, cheese) to take over to Jamie's and to see the boys.

9/3/09

Jamie dropped Cameron off around 6:15 and then she took Mason on to daycare. Jason took the morning off to go to court regarding custody of the boys. I took JJ to work and then came home to get ready to go to court with Jason. Jason and Cameron stopped by McDonald's to get something to eat before Jason took him to school. Cameron said that he had not eaten and was hungry. Jason and I met with his lawyer at 8:45 and then went to the court house. After spending most of the morning waiting for Jason's case to be called, we were told it would be 3:00PM before the case would be called. Once I told them that I had to pick Cameron up from school at 3:10, the lawyers got together and decided to postpone the case. Mr. Hirsch said this was good and that the longer we had the boys with us the better it would be in court. After leaving the courthouse, Jason went to work and I went to the store for groceries.
I picked Cameron at 3:10 and we came home. Jason came home around 4:30 and he and Cameron played football in the front yard until Jamie called at 5:30 wanting Jason to come to the daycare to look at some pictures that were taken of Mason. After looking at the pictures, Jason came home. He asked if Mason wanted to go with his mother or if he wanted to come home with him. Mason wanted to come home with Jason. Jamie did not bother to come by to see Cameron and as far as I know she did not call to check on them before bedtime. Jason did go over to Jamie's apartment later to get the boys cold medicine as she did not bring them back.
We had supper at 6:30, Jason gave the boys a bath and allowed them to watch TV for a while before bed.
Note: Jason noticed that Mason's hair was very oily when he picked him up from the daycare. He mentioned it to Jamie and she said that the boys were tired last night and she had not bothered to give them a bath. I guess we'll need to start picking Mason up from daycare on Wednesday, feeding them and bathing them again before Jason takes them to Jamie's.

9/2/09

I woke up the boys, fed them, dressed them and we left to take JJ to work, Mason to daycare and Cameron to school. Pawpaw went out to check his stores and I went out for a while before meeting him at the house to get some lunch before our appointment with Jason's lawyer at 1:00. We spent 1 1/2 hours with Mr. Hirsch's para legal and then left in time to pick Cameron up from school at 3:10. We came home, Cameron played with Pawpaw until Jason came home. Jason and Cameron played on the computer until it was time for Jason to take him to Jamie's. I had picked up Mandarin Cafe chicken fried rice for supper (which is Cameron's favorite) so I sent enough with Jason for Cameron's and Mason supper. Jason also took the boys cold medicine so Jamie could give it to them tonight.
Note: Jason called the school again today requesting that Cameron's teacher call to set up a meeting. He is concerned that Cameron has not receive any homework assignments for this week. He called on Tuesday but she has not returned his call.

9/1/09

I got the boys up, fed them, dressed them and took everyone where they needed to be. I came home and made copies of all my blog posts to take to Jason's lawyer tomorrow. It took quite some time as I had problems with my computer and had to put the printer on Jason's computer. At 1:35 I received a call from Jamie stating that the school had called and that I had forgotten to pick Cameron up from school. I had forgotten that today was a early release day. I left immediately and picked him up. He was in the office and was fine. We came home, I gave him a snack and he played until Jason came home. He did not have homework but needed to read for 30 minutes so Jason helped him after his bath and before bed. Jamie brought Mason home at 5:30 and said that she still had not heard from the doctors office. We had supper at 6:00, Jason gave the boys a bath, and then helped Cameron with his reading. Jamie called at 7:00 stating that she had finally heard back from the nurse and that we should start Mason on Claritin for 7 days. While Jason gave the boys their baths I went to Walmart and got the Claritin and something for Cameron's cough. The boys watched TV until time for bed.

8/31/09

I got the boys up, fed them breakfast, dressed them and we took JJ to work, Mason to daycare and then Cameron to school at 8:15. Once I got home, I straightened the house, got dressed and went to the courthouse for new tags. Afterwards I went to several business to drop off resumes and fill out applications before picking Cameron up from school. Cameron started his homework while I fixed him a snack and later made supper. When Pawpaw came home from work, we left Cameron with Jason and went to Mewmaw's to take in her mail and water the plants. While we were gone, Jamie dropped off Mason. She said he felt like he was running a fever and so Jason gave him some Motrin. Jason asked her to call the doctors office to see if we could put him back on the antibiotics from his recent throat infection. She will call them tomorrow. We ate supper, Jason gave the boys a bath and allowed them to watch a little TV before going to bed.

8/30/09

Today was Pawpaw's birthday so I let him sleep late and I took JJ to work. Once I got home, I started breakfast and then got everyone up. We ate breakfast, Jason got the boys dressed, they played outside for a while before Jason took them over to a friends house. They came home around 4:30 in time for lupper. After we ate, Jason gave the boys their baths and they watched TV until time for bed.

Saturday, August 29, 2009

8/29/09

I took JJ to work while Jason and the boys slept in. Once I got home I started breakfast. Jason and the boys got up had breakfast and then the boys played on the DS and computer until it was time to get dressed. Later Jason took them to Mcdonald's for lunch and then to the movies to see Night at the Museum 2. They really liked the movie. Once they came home, we had tacos for supper. The played outside for awhile before coming in to take their baths and watch TV before going to bed.

8/27/09

Jamie dropped Cameron off at 6:15 and then took Mason on to daycare. Cameron and I took JJ to work at 7:00 and then came home until 8:15 when it was time to leave for school. I picked Cameron up at 3:10, stopped at the store, and then came home for homework and fixing supper. Jamie dropped Mason off at 6:00. We had supper, Jason gave them their bath and they went to bed early, They were tired since they have to get up earlier when they stay with Jamie..

8/26/09

I woke up the boys, dressed them, fed them and took them to daycare and school. I picked Cameron up at 3:15 and we came home to start on his homework. I let him do one assignment and then allowed him to play for a while before Jason took him to Jamie's for the night. I asked Jason to get Jamie to help Cameron with the rest of his homework. She later called complaining that she didn't have any paper and Jason needed to bring her some. She was not happy that she had to help. At 10:00 PM a deputy arrived with a summons for Jason to appear in court next Wednesday for a divorce hearing. Apparently Jamie filed last week on the day of their big fight and they are just now serving him the papers. I don't think it is fair to serve him and only give him a week to find a lawyer and have the lawyer prepare for the hearing. Hopefully he will contact one tomorrow and they can postpone the hearing. Would you believe that the papers state she wants the divorce, she wants permanent alimony, she wants him to pay her attorney's fee, she wants permanent custody of the boys, she wants equitable division of the marital property and child support. She wants alimony even though she make more than Jason does. She wants permanent custody of the boys even though she has not bothered to keep them for 2 months. She wants equal division of marital property but she took everything except his clothes when she moved out and she wants child support. It makes me so mad I could chew nails. All she really wants is the money. If Jason were to offer to give her money every week, I bet she wouldn't be filing right now. She would take the money and allow the boys to stay here.

8/25/09

Today was the usual day of taking everyone where they needed to be and then picking them up. I spend time every day looking for work, straightening up the house, washing clothes, helping with homework, and cooking supper. And I wouldn't change a thing about keeping the boys with us. They seem to be settling down here. They know that they don't have to listen to the fights, that they have home cooked meals everyday and that they are safe. I love the boys very much and only want what is best for them. I hope that one day Jamie will start being the mom she used to be.

Monday, August 24, 2009

8/24/09

I woke up the boys, dressed them, fed them , took JJ to work, Mason to daycare and Cameron to school. I picked Cameron up at 3:15, came home to help with homework until Jason arrived to help and then started supper. Jamie dropped Mason off at 6:05, stayed long enough to kiss Cameron and then left. Jason and the boys played ball outside until time for supper. They ate, played some more until bath time and then went to bed.

Sunday, August 23, 2009

8/23/09

It has been a very quite weekend without the boys here. I am so use to them being here that it now seems strange without them. Jason did go to see them for a little while yesterday and today he picked them up early. They went to the house of Jason's friend Mike where they played with his kids and swam in the pool. They came home, Jason gave them their bath, they ate supper and went to bed two tired little boys.

Friday, August 21, 2009

8/21/09

I woke the boys, fed them, dressed them, took JJ to work, Mason to daycare and Cameron to school as usual. Afterwards, I dropped the car off to have the brakes fixed and came home to clean the house. I picked the car up around 1:00 and came back to finish the laundry. Pawpaw came home at 2:00 and took the car for a test run. At 2:15 i received a call from Jamie asking me to pick Cameron up from school as she had some errands to run. She normally picks him up on Friday as she gets off at 2:00 and since it is her weekend to keep the boys it gives me a break. I called Pawpaw and he said he would pick Cameron up for me while he was out. At 2:45 Jason called to say he had called Jamie to make sure she was picking up Cameron and she told him that she had called me. He said he had just got off work and would pick him up. They came home and played for a while before Jason took him to Jamie's apartment.

Thursday, August 20, 2009

8/20/09

Jamie dropped Cameron off at 6:15 and then took Mason to daycare. I had him change into his school uniform, fed him breakfast and then we took JJ to work and him to school. I picked him up from school at 3:15, we came home and started homework. Jason came home helped with the homework while I started supper. Jamie dropped Mason off at 6:00, we ate supper, Jason bathed the boys and then played with them until bedtime.

8/19/09

Pawpaw was off today so he took JJ to work while I let the boys sleep a little later than usual. Once Pawpaw came back, we woke up the boys, dressed them, fed them and then took them to the daycare and school. Once we got home, we dressed and went our separate ways, him to check his stores and me to look for work. I met Pawpaw at home at 2:45 and we went to pick Cameron up from school. When we got home, Pawpaw took a nap while I helped Cameron with homework. Jason came home at 4:30, played on the computer with Cameron before taking him over to Jamie's at 6:00 since today is Wednesday and Jason makes her keep them so they can spend time with her during the week. Jamie picked Mason up from daycare and took him home with her.

Tuesday, August 18, 2009

8/18/09

I woke up the boys, took JJ to work, Mason to daycare and then Cameron to school. I came home got dressed and went out for a while. Jason called wanting to talk. He had a big fight with Jamie concerning the boys and her lack of mothering skills. She doesn't seem to understand that she needs to spend more time with them. Mason ask questions all the time about where she is. He is only 3 and doesn't understand. Cameron on the other hand understands and says he wants to stay with his dad. I think he feels good about the living arrangements and has to be made to spend time with his mother. I don't know what will happen once the pool closes and they are no longer allowed to go swimming. According to Cameron, that is the only thing they get to do while at Jamie's apartment. Since that is the time Jamie likes to lay by the pool, drink and smoke, I wonder who is watching the boys. I picked Cameron up at 3:15, we came home, started on homework and I started supper. Jason came home at 5:00, played with Cameron until Jamie dropped Mason off. They played outside until supper was ready, ate, bathed, watched TV and then went to bed.

8/17/09

I woke the boys at 6:15, got them dressed, fed them breakfast and then we took JJ to work, Mason to daycare and then Cameron and I came home until it was time to take him to school at 8:15. I came back home got dressed and went out for a while before it was time to pick Cameron up at 3:15. We came home, I helped Cameron with some of his homework until Jason came home and then he helped Cameron while I started supper. Pawpaw came home at 5:15 and he and Jason played ball with Cameron in the front yard until Jamie dropped Mason off. She only stays long enough to give both boys a kiss and then she leaves. I'm not sure what she does once she leaves here. You would think she would spend a little more time with her children since Mason was so sick last week. She seems perfectly happy with the arrangement of Jason keeping the boys and her doing whatever she wants. She doesn't have to feed them, she doesn't have to help with homework, she doesn't have to bath them, she doesn't have to wash their clothes, pay for anything and she has all the free time she needs. I know Cameron has mentioned that she has a boyfriend that he says come over a lot when they are with her. Once Jamie left, Jason played with the boys outside until supper was ready. We all ate, Jason gave the boys their baths and they watched TV until time for bed.

Sunday, August 16, 2009

8/16/09

Pawpaw took JJ to work while I stayed at home. Once he came home, I started breakfast. Jason and the boys woke up around 8:30. I should say the boys woke up and then woke up their dad. We had breakfast and then Jason got the boys dressed and took them outside to play. Mason is feeling much better, he is not running a fever and the doctor said that if he did not have fevers he could do whatever. After we had lunch, Jason took the boys over to a friend's house so the boys could play with their children. They were there most of the afternoon. They had a cookout, ate hamburgers and hot dogs and were dog tired when they came home. Jason gave them their baths and they were asleep almost before their heads touched their pillows.

Saturday, August 15, 2009

8/15/09

I got up and took JJ to work while Jason and the boys slept in. When I came home both boys woke up and we let Jason sleep for a while until breakfast was ready. Pawpaw stopped by to eat with us before going back to work. Mason was feeling a lot better and played all day. He took his 2 medications at 8:00 AM and then again at 8:00 PM. Since he was so sick on Wednesday and Thursday , Jason felt that it would do him good to stay in today, so he and Cameron played and watched TV. We ate supper at 6:30, Jason gave them their baths and they went to bed around 8:30.

Friday, August 14, 2009

8/14/09

Mason had a better night although Jason said he was very restless and talked in his sleep. After taking JJ to work and Cameron to school, Mason and I came home and played all day. He was like a different child. I guess the shot of antibiotics he received at the doctors office on Thursday finally kicked in. He was more talkative and wanted to help with everything I did. At 2:45, we left to pick Cameron up from school. When we were almost to the school, Jamie called to check on Mason and said she had been about to leave to pick Cameron up. I told her since I was almost there that I would go ahead and get him and she could come over to the house to see them later. I also asked her to go ahead and call the doctors office regarding the mono test since I have not heard from them. She later called to say that the doctor was tied up with a patient and that she had not signed off on the results and would call by Monday. She did hint that it was not mono.
Jamie did come by the house and spent all of 15 minutes with the boys. We had supper around 6:30 and then the boys played before taking their baths and going to bed.

Thursday, August 13, 2009

8/13/09

According to Jason, Mason had a rough night. He ran a low grade fever all night, was very restless and snored so loud that it kept Jason awake. I had a difficult time waking him up in order to take JJ to work and he fell asleep on the way home from taking Cameron to school. After we got home I made him pancakes and sausage for breakfast. He ate some but was not very hungry and only wanted to lay around all morning. At 11:00 I gave him another dose of the Tylenol and he laid down for a nap. Three hours later I had to wake him up to go pick Cameron up from school. Once we picked Cameron up, I tried to take them to get a snack but both were not hungry so I decided to go on to the doctor's office early for Mason appointment at 4:20. Bad idea. We got there at 3:45 and did not go back until 5:10. Every time the door to the waiting room opened he started to cry saying he didn't want a shot. I tried to tell him he wouldn't get a shot today but after telling him that yesterday and he was poked three times with needles, he didn't believe me. Once in the back, the doctor checked his neck and throat. All the test have not come back yet but the ones that have state that he has a lot of bacterial infection and needs to be on antibiotics and a steroid. She says his tonsils are huge and she is concerned with the swelling of his glands. She will call me tomorrow with the mono test results but is 99 percent sure it is mono. I am to keep him home at least thru Sunday and if he is no longer running a fever he can go back to daycare on Monday.
I dropped off the two prescriptions at the pharmacy and Jason will pick them up on his way home. Thankfully they stay open until 7:00 or else we would have to wait until tomorrow to start him on the treatment. Jamie came by to check on Mason just as we were getting home. She stayed a while but then left to go home. If it were my child that was this sick, I think you would have to pull me away from him but she seems to think she doesn't need to be here for him. He is like all children when they are sick and wants his mother but it seems to help that he has daddy, Meme and Pawpaw here.
Since we were so late getting out of the doctors office, Jason picked up supper at the Mandarin Cafe. After eating, we gave Mason his medicine, he and Cameron took their baths and watched TV before going to bed.

Wednesday, August 12, 2009

8/12/09

Pawpaw picked Cameron up from school while I stayed at home with Mason. He slept for several hours and I gave him a dose of Motrin when he woke up. He seemed to feel somewhat better but his neck was still swollen and he can't turn his head.Once Cameron came home, he worked on his homework while I made supper. Once we ate, the boys watched Tv before taking thier baths and going to bed.

8/12/09

Pawpaw took JJ to work today while I let the boys sleep a little later than usual. When I woke up Mason he complained that his throat hurt and he felt warm to the touch. But after he got up, his cheeks felt cool and he no longer complained of a sore throat. We decided to let him go on to the daycare and if he started to feel bad they could call. At 10:00, Jason called to say that the daycare had called and Mason was again complaining of a sore throat. We picked him up and took him to see his doctor. When we arrived they took his temperature, which was 100.4 and immediately gave him some Tylenol. It turns out his sore throat was enlarged glands. They swabbed his throat for possible strep and pricked his finger for a mono test. After waiting for almost a hour, the doctor came back and said that both test were negative but she felt that it was still either mono or a infection in the gland. They had to take a blood test from his arm to send to an outside lab and they gave him a shot of antibiotics in his leg. We are to return tomorrow for the lab results and to check on the swollen glands. Needless to say, Mason is not a happy camper with band aids on his finger, arm and leg. We stopped at McDonalds for the chicken nuggets I promised him, he ate and then laid down to watch his WALL-E movie. He was asleep and snoring within minutes.

8/10/09

I woke the boys, dressed them, fed them and we took JJ to work, Mason to daycare and then Cameron to School. I spent the rest of the day straightening the house, going job hunting and then I picked Cameron up from school at 3:15. While Cameron worked on his homework, I started supper and when Jamie brought Mason home at 6:00 , we ate, Jason gave them their baths and they watched TV until time for bed.

8/7/09

I woke the boys up at 6:30, helped them dress and fed them breakfast before leaving to take JJ to work at 7:15. After dropping JJ off, Cameron and I dropped Mason off at daycare and came back home until 8:15 and then I took him to school. I spent the rest of the morning trying to get Cameron's RX filled. The doctor's office had lost the RX and when I finally was able to take it to the pharmacy there was a problem with the insurance. I don't mind helping Jason with the boys but feel that since Jamie is their mother it is her responsibility to make sure that these things are taken care of. She seems willing to let others take care of her children and only sees them when she is made to by Jason. I wonder what will happen when they finally go in front of a judge for the divorce. Will she then want them in order to get the child support knowing that if Jason gets to keep them she will probably have to give him support?
I called Jason to make sure that since it is Jamie's weekend (she has them every Wednesday night and every other weekend) to keep the boys that she would be picking Cameron up from school. He called back stating that Jamie would pick up Cameron and then pick up Mason from daycare. I wish I did not always have to check to see if she was going to pick them up. I would then be able to plan my time better.

8/6/09

Jamie dropped Cameron off at 6:30. He and I took JJ to work , then came home to get his school supplies in order. We left the house at 8:15 in order to get him to school by 8:30. I picked Cameron up from school at 3:15. We came home, I fixed him a snack (mac and cheese) and let him play on the computer until Jamie brought Mason home a 6:00. Since today was the first day of school, he did not have homework other than he has to bring in a framed picture of himself. After Jamie dropped Mason off, we ate supper, Jason gave the boys a bath and they were in bed by 7:30. They were very tired as they have to get up very early (5:30) when they stay with Jamie. She doesn't have to be at work until 7:45 but always drops them off early. Here they can sleep until 6:30.

8/5/09

I took JJ and the boys to work and daycare as usual and Jamie picked the boys up and took them home with her as she keeps them on Wednesday nights. Jamie will drop Cameron off here in the morning so I can take him for his first day of school. She took Mason to daycare. While Pawpaw and I were out today we picked up a twin mattress set for Jason. The boys have been sleeping on the bunk beds and Jason has been sleeping on a blow up mattress on the floor.

The day started as a normal Sunday with Pawpaw taking JJ to work while I stayed at home with Jason and the boys. When Pawpaw left to pick JJ up at 9:00, I started breakfast. After breakfast we cleaned the house, worked in the yard and played with the boys. It was a good day.

8/1/09

I took JJ to work while Jason and the boys slept in. Once I came home I started breakfast. Today we had french toast, bacon (turkey) and scrambled eggs. After Pawpaw came home from work, we went to buy groceries. Boy does it cost a lot to buy groceries. By the time we left the store my purse was lighter by almost $300.00. Maybe the everyday thing (I usually spent an average of about 25.00)was better after all. We'll see how long these last before I have to go back. While we were out, Jason took the boys to see the new movie G-Force. He later said it was a cute movie for kids but he would not recommend it for adults.

At 6:00 we all met my sister Kim and her family at a local restaurant (Johnny Carino's) for a birthday party for my nephew Brandon. Pawpaw and I have only been to this restaurant once and that was a long time ago. I was not very impressed with the service, food or the restaurant itself. We had 20 people in our party and only had one server. It took forever to order, most of the food was cold when we finally received it and we had water dripping on us from the air vents in the ceiling. Lets just say, we won't be going back.
After leaving the restaurant, we all went back to Kim's house for cake and ice cream. She had purchased the cake (see picture below) from a local bakery(Columbus Corner Bakery). They did a great job and put everything Brandon likes on the cake. The boys had a good time playing with Kim's grandchildren and were happy that they were allowed to stay up late. We left Kim's around 10:00 and put the boys to bed as soon as we got home. They we tired and went straight to sleep.
